As my personal contribution to "be the change" I am going to open an exhibition space around peace and freedom in Brussels.

It is something I feel called to do apart from being an artist - sharing and the need of doing something meaningful, that will help create some change, through creation, experimentation, vision, acquisition and helping people through microfinances.

The concept is to have ceramics as one part of the exhibitions and one other media - both creating a communication.

An image for the ceramic part imposed itself on my inner eye - a vision of bowls and spoons - bowls as a symbol of abundance, giving and taking, sharing;  the spoon being of ancestral significance as the first tool for eating -  feeding, nourishment, health, wellbeing.    

Concerning the other media - I want to stay completely open - as long as a synergy is created. The experience needs to be touching and strong.

This is probably clear, as the space is about peace and freedom and there is no peace and freedom in a closed heart.

I am currently looking for inspired artists who resonate with this idea and who might propose a project in the line of - "a bowl and a spoon speak more than thousand words". It might be very possible that I would like to propose a small edition of the pieces - please submit ideas - I am open.
